Hi Loves. This last 18 months, is the first time I have ever lived alone. Naturally, I am learning a lot about myself. This is new information that I kind of knew, but not really. For instance, I am not a very good multitasker. I tend to focus on one thing at a time. Deeply. The classes I have been teaching at the Jonesborough Senior Center for the last 6 weeks—Journaling and The Joy of Art-Making have been great, but I’ve been unable to get any substantial writing done. Same thing happened when I taught my Fearless Writing for Women classes a few years ago. I love teaching, but it comes at a price. So after this Wednesday I can hardly wait to sit in my writing chair and do that thing that I am most passionate about. Then I get to take a deep, full breath of something that fulfills me
You are building healthy relationships through the classes you are teaching and that is a good thing. Now you’ll come back to writing full time with renewed energy. It’s all good! xoxo
Obviously, those neuroscientists have not studied my ability to eat ice cream, partake of a chocolate old fashioned donut and drink coffee, pretty much simultaneously---i.e., multi-tasking! I hear you, Susan, on getting back to writing...people can be positively exhausting!/tarra

Multi-tasking is not a virtue...it's not even really possible according to the neuroscientists who have studied it, so do not feel bad about not doing it! You do you = the best way to live! Thanks, Helen. An enlightened comment! Q💕
