I had two small strokes (TIAs), but no after effects. When I had my hip replaced, my grabbers in each room were my best friends. I couldn't believe how much stuff I dropped. I wish you all the best in your continued healing journey. We'll be here when you have new books!
I think you are doing pretty well!! I have a friend going through a similar situation. It's hard work to get back to your old self again. Hang in there!
I have a grabber, too!! When one shrinks down to 59" tall from "5-foot-2 two, eyes of blue", compensation is always in the daily plan. Mine is the brightly colored plastic cheap model. The grandchildren think it's just an awesome toy. I couldn't bend over for two years, and I also used it for shorts, shoes, underwear, picking things up from the floor and snapping at unruly grandchildren. I need to purchase a quality grabber now for top-shelf items at the grocery store. Everything I need is always on the top shelf and the manager won't let me climb the shelves anymore. Cheering you on, Susan!!

We take so much for granted! This includes our health! Don’t let it ‘whoop’ you. You can and will overcome this! 🩷
