A wonderful story with a surprise ending! Have you considered a book of short stories?

I do have a very slim volume of short stories, Linda. It’s called Grace, Grits and Ghosts. It is often offered for free online.

“Well, Miss Mildred, if I had two good legs to stand on and eyesight in BOTH eyes, corrected to 20-20, and if I hadn’t had a hot flash since the early 80s, I’d sure have nothing to whine about.” The story had so many humorous tidbits ..but this is my favorite.

How I laughed!!! So very good! Loved the humor and the honesty. Loved it so MUCH!!

I love your short story as much as your books, Susan! I can relate to Honey Honeycut's boredom at this stage of her life, and yet, there's hope around the corner!
