My apologies
I did not mean to drop out of sight on you. I haven’t had WiFi or internet since I moved here to Nashville on January 5th. It is only this afternoon that Xfinity came and set up my Wi-Fi. Yay!
I got 3 emails from my paid subscribers who have bailed, probably because you thought I’d forgotten about my commitment to you and you haven’t seen a Substack. But. Every time I tried to post, my iPad told me that I couldn’t because I had no internet. So I was so frustrated that I could not email you. I’ve been thinking about you and have been very grateful for you this whole time!
The move to Nashville has exceeded my expectations. For one thing, the standard of care from the medical community is so far above that in Greenville that I regret that I didn’t move here sooner. Also. I love it here. I love my apartment. I love the community. I love being so close to my best buddy, Carolyn. I am one happy camper.
Rocky seems to be happy here, too. No red scooter yet. Though I have hired a dog-walker that he absolutely adores who walks him 2 times a day.
From my window on the 8th floor I have a view of Nashville and the Cumberland mountains—where my series, The Secret Sense of Wildflower takes place. So in an odd way, I feel like I’ve finally come home.

I look forward to telling you more about this place
in future posts.
Love you! ♥️

Welcome back Susan! You were conspicuous in your absence! Lol! I figured there was a reason for it and of course everyone needs a nice break every now and then even if it wasn’t totally voluntary. Looks like your life is coming together in a wonderful way in your new home! Many blessings to you! 🥰
We are glad that you are getting settled in a place that sounds familiar and welcoming. There is great peace of mind knowing that you are in a place with good, accessible medical care. Wherever you are, be careful of falls--don't be concerned if you need to use a walker for safety's sake. There is an old saying that fits (even though it may not have originally applied to this situation): "Pride goeth before a fall!" We look forward to hearing that all continues to go well, and that you are back to doing work that you love! Don't forget to register to vote...it's a really important year!
Sending long distance hugs!
