Drove downtown this morning and took a few photos of the town all spiffed up for the storytelling festival that starts tomorrow.
At the court house! Fodder shock!

I will not attend because of my hearing loss. My birthday is Saturday, October 7th, and I’m driving to Knoxville for a couple of days to celebrate with my daughters.
Ever heard of fodder shock? Until I moved here to Jonesborough, I had not. But it’s a decoration that is everywhere. An Amish tradition.
What is a fodder shock?
A fodder shock is a real, actual, thing! Commonly, they're a cluster of dried corn stalks that are used as autumn decor. You can see it in the 2nd and 3rd photo in front of the courthouse
I hope all is well at your house. Happy Fall!
Love you! ♥️
Happy Autumn and Happy Birthday Susan! Have a wonderful visit with your daughters! I never knew that this decoration was called Fodder Shock! 😊🧡🍂
Happy Birthday, Saturday!! Hope your visit with your daughters is warm and wonderful!
