Finding comfort in the stillness of winter
And the gift of FREE books for your TBR List
Hello, fellow bookworm!
December always slows the world down a little. The air grows sharper, the days grow shorter, and every light strung across a window feels like its own small miracle. Tennessee will find me learning the rhythm of winter in a new place, and I’m looking forward to every minute of it.
Winter is a good season for reflection and the gratitude that carries over from November and Thanksgiving. It’s a time for the kind of stories that simmer quietly until they’re ready to be shared. When my writing desk is finally in place and my books are back on their shelves, I look forward to settling into my work in progress.
Wherever you are this season, I hope you find moments of calm, whether it’s a good book and a warm drink, or a bit of laughter joined by the people you love. If you’re looking for new books, here are some recommendations that you can download for free right now.
If you enjoy reading women’s fiction, then you’re sure to love these books by Amanda Gale, Megan Holley, Sara Wade, Elizabeth Standish, and me. Click the button below to see the entire limited-time collection and start downloading your freebies today!
What’s one tradition or small ritual that makes this time of year special for you? I’d love to know.
Love you! ♥️

Whether you enjoy the convenience of e-books or the smell of a paperback, there’s nothing like curling up with a book to escape everyday life.
Audiobooks are great for listening to when commuting, exercising, walking, or when you are just in the mood to listen to a story (nothing beats it!). Most of Susan’s books are narrated by the amazing actor Holly Adams.

Merry Christmas Susan. It will be wonderful when you are all settled in in Tennessee. One tradition we always do is travel from Tampa to Ocala in Florida and go to the Equestrian Center with my sister and and her family. We spend the night at the hotel and watch horses go trough their jumping contests. Love. JAY
Wishing you a beautiful Christmas Susan! May it be filled with love.
