Hi my friends. Spring is showing signs of reemerging and there is also snow in the forecast next week. It is what it is. But I am really looking forward to spring! Winter has seemed especially long-winded this year.
My classes at the senior center are going great. The journaling course has people who have never even owned a journal before, writing their hearts out. Here are the prompts from last week if you would like to try writing.
What part of your day do you most enjoy and why?
Write about how you calm yourself in a difficult situation.
How do you recharge if you need new energy?
What do you most want your children / grandchildren or young people in general to learn from you?
And The Joy of Making Art is fun! We are playing around with oil pastels, colored pencils, acrylic paint, and collage and trying hard to not be perfectionists about it. Next week we are trying still lifes.
AND. I am finally back to writing the cozy mystery, and I am pleased with how it is going.
BEWARE: Anyone who hasn’t paid me proper respect in the last year or two may find themselves disguised, but ultimately killed off!
Iris Temple in Temple Secrets was an ex friend I knew in Colorado. Fiction writers often fictionally kill off their enemies if the opportunity presents itself. Luckily, I haven’t made many enemies over the years. But when I do, I know how to resolve the issue. 😈
That’s it for now. I hope you are well. Thanks for reading! Paid subscribers received a sneak peek of chapters 5, 6, & 7 of the Honey Honeycutt mystery today. I'm hoping to have the book finished and my enemies all killed off by Christmas!
Love you!
I am in awe of your talent! That is all! ♥️
