120 Things that give me HOPE

“Hope” is the thing with feathers –
That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all –
–Emily Dickinson

Hopelessness and discouragement drain us of our creative passion. When I get stuck in hopelessness or despair I make lists. I’m not sure why. Somehow it helps me keep going despite all evidence of ‘what’s the point?’ A few years ago, I wrote this list during a difficult time to give me the courage to carry on. I updated it this week with current thoughts. If you are a paid subscriber you have the option to comment at the end, and I hope you will.

Is there anything you would add?

(If you are wondering why you are receiving this newsletter, see last week’s post.)
